On-page recommendations read like your page

What changed

We read the page before we recommend a change to it. A recommendation now arrives as a passage in the page's own tone, shown in place, with the paragraph as it will read once the change is in.

When the page already answers the question, we say so. When another page owns the answer, we recommend a link, not a second copy. Questions go in the way a person asks them, not in search-query wording.

The draft check now reads the whole site. It flags a passage that repeats another page, a question another page already answers, and tone that drifts from the page it lands on.

You can also decline a recommendation with a reason; it stops counting as unfinished work.

Why

Recommendations written without the page in front of them read like SEO pasted in. Every one now has to read as if the page's writer wrote it.

Where you see it

Continuous Improvement, the Improve cards on the Work list, the Accuracy tab fixes, and the draft check, in the portal and through a connected agent.

What to do

Nothing. An older recommendation still open can be declined with a reason or left for the next run to rewrite.
