Setup

  1. Add a custom connector under Customize, Connectors, with the address above.
  2. Choose Connect and sign in to Eidomai. Pick Read only or Read and write.
  3. In a chat, turn Eidomai on and ask what to write this month.
Every click, step by step
  1. Open Customize, then Connectors. Choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Eidomai and paste the address above as the server address. Choose Continue, leave the authentication settings as they are, and choose Add.
  3. Choose Connect next to Eidomai. Claude opens Eidomai's sign-in.
  4. In a chat, use the + button, then Connectors, and turn Eidomai on.

On Claude Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it first (Organization settings, Connectors, Add, Custom, Web); members then choose Connect under Customize, Connectors.

In ChatGPT

On the web, through Developer mode. Business, Enterprise and Edu can read and make changes; Pro can connect for reading only. Other ChatGPT plans can't add custom connectors yet.

  1. Turn on Developer mode, then create an app with the address above and OAuth.
  2. Choose Scan Tools and sign in to Eidomai. Pick Read only or Read and write.
  3. In a chat, pick Eidomai from the tools menu and ask what to write.
Every click, step by step
  1. On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode. On Business, only workspace admins and owners can; on Enterprise and Edu, an admin gives you access first.
  2. In Settings, Apps, choose Create. Name it Eidomai, paste the address above as the server address, and choose OAuth for authentication.
  3. Choose Scan Tools. ChatGPT opens Eidomai's sign-in. When the scan finishes, choose Create.
  4. In a chat, pick Eidomai from the tools menu, or mention it by name, in the message where you want it.

To give your whole ChatGPT workspace the app, an admin publishes it from Workspace settings, Apps.

What does connecting Eidomai to ChatGPT or Claude do?
The AI you already use reads your Eidomai account directly: your Work list, your briefs, your verified facts and your draft check. Ask what to write this month and it answers from your account, not from a guess about your business.
Which plans include it?
The Map and Done for you. The Scan does not include the connector; on The Scan, your AI agent can still sign in from instructions you copy in the portal.
Which ChatGPT and Claude plans work?
Claude: every plan, including Free (one custom connector), on the web, desktop and mobile. ChatGPT: on the web through Developer mode. Business, Enterprise and Edu can read and make changes; Pro connects for reading only. Other ChatGPT plans cannot add custom connectors yet.
What is an MCP connector?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard Claude and ChatGPT use to connect to outside services. Eidomai runs an MCP server at app.eidom.ai/mcp. You add it by that address, sign in to Eidomai, and choose what the app may do.
Can it write things into my account?
Only if you choose Read and write when you connect. Then it can mark a page shipped after a passing draft check, send a fact or a claim confirmation for review, and set your weekly watchlist. Read only is the default.
Can it publish to my website?
No. It drafts, checks and tells you what is ready. You or your team publish, then mark it shipped. On Done for you, we publish, as always.
I run an agency. Can one connection cover my clients?
Yes. A staff login opens every client it opens in the portal, and one connection covers them all. Ask it to list your clients, name the one you mean, and every answer says which account it came from.
Does the AI see my billing or other businesses?
No. It sees only the businesses your sign-in opens, and never billing. Revoke it under Connected apps in your portal and it stops on its next request.
Is Eidomai in the Claude or ChatGPT app directory?
Not yet. Today you add Eidomai by its address, app.eidom.ai/mcp, in a few steps. When a directory listing goes live, this page will say so.
