Remove an account

Removal happens at month end. The account goes read-only for thirty days and stops counting on your invoice. Then Eidomai closes it out with you: the client continues directly with Eidomai, the record is held, or it is deleted.

What to do

Step by step.

  1. Partner home, open the account, Remove account.
  2. The account stays live until the end of the month, so the client's last report is built.
  3. On the 1st it goes read-only for thirty days and comes off your invoice. Your people can still open it and export the reports. The account's status line reads: Removed. Read-only, waiting on a decision.
  4. After thirty days Eidomai closes it out, and we check with you first: the client continues directly with Eidomai (they keep their map and we bill them), the record is held as it is, or it is deleted.

Removal is a month-end event, not a button that deletes. The client's last report gets built, the account goes read-only for thirty days and comes off your invoice, and then we close it out with you.

A pause is not a removal. Move the client to The Scan instead; the map keeps measuring and nothing is lost.

How to read it

What the screen is telling you.

  • Nothing is deleted on the day you press Remove. You have the rest of the month plus thirty days to export reports or change your mind.
  • Removing an account never touches the people on your agency. That account's client contacts lose their view links only when the record is deleted.
Questions

People ask.

A client paused. Do I have to remove them?
No. Move them to The Scan for the pause. The map keeps measuring, they keep their baseline, and moving back up is one change.
What does hold mean?
The record stays as it is, off your invoice, nothing refreshing, until it is either picked up again or deleted.
Can the client keep going without me?
Yes. Tell us when you remove the account and we move them to a direct Eidomai account. Their map, ledger and briefs carry over.
